B-OOKMARK is a centralized dashboard I built to streamline access to various data center monitoring tools and services, helping on-site teams work faster and with less hassle.
🎯 The Goal
The data center team used to juggle dozens of URLs—monitoring tools, reports, and internal systems—all scattered across browsers and notes.
B-OOKMARK was created to bring everything together in one place, eliminating the daily hunt for bookmarks.
🛠️ My Role & Solution
I deployed and customized Heimdall (a lightweight dashboard app) inside a Docker container.
After setup, I personalized the layout, added weather widgets, quick search, and organized services by division.
The result: a clean, self-hosted internal portal that anyone in the local network can open without needing to log in.
Every essential system—from CCTV monitoring to documentation—is now available within one unified dashboard.
🏆 The Outcome
B-OOKMARK significantly improved the team’s productivity by reducing the time wasted on navigation and context switching.
Now, everyone simply opens a single page to access everything they need.
It’s our version of a “single pane of glass” for the entire data center environment.
Small project, big impact — B-OOKMARK might look simple, but it’s the kind of tool that quietly makes every day smoother.
